My elderly mother received an alarming threat on her computer on May 22, 2024 and instead of contacting one of her adult children/grandchildren; she panicked; and contacted the number on the computer; (321)5**-4***. There, she spent one hour+ with a "nice gentleman" who took over her computer and 'assisted' her with what he told her he could see was a "Russian hacker" taking over it. She was so upset he even told her to 'drink water or orange juice'. She found this kindness legit. He then offered her protection and after she gave him all of her banking info to take this money out he told her she should contact her bank and credit card company in 3-5 days. She of course found this all so "caring". Needless to say; she has been scammed and is at her bank as I type. After researching I have determined 'website' associated with this company is: https://www.your****-7.com/ Her computer has been hacked by this SCAMMER and her account withdrawn from. I am working tirelessly this AM to find these scammers and report to the proper authorities. If anyone else sees this; please do the same. There were reports on this community dating back to 2023 but nothing more recently. Thank You!
