Type of a scam Online Purchase
The boots arrived and instead of allowing me to try the boots on without any custom orthotic or foam mold insert costing an additional 700.00, which i told them repeatedly I wanted to try the manufacture's lining first. However when she should me my boots to try on they had tubes coming out of them to do the foam molding and already had an Orthotic prepared that I did not request. I told them I wanted to try the boot with the original lining and they removed the tubes and had me try on the boot. The boot was to big and kept trying to make adjustments to fit me, but I then saw the back of the boot and said it wasn't my size she then told me that my foot had grown and i needed to do the custom.
I believe this was a classic bait and switch so they could up sell me the boot to accommodate their foam lining. subsequently I saw on yelp that this is a common practice at Sure Foot. This is wrong and a deceptive business practice, and should be stopped.
Happily I found the boot in the 23.5 and it fits perfectly from another vender.
