On July 28, 2023, a fellow knocked on my door saying he worked for the highways department and that he and his workers had extra blacktop available to make repairs on my driveway. He said he'd even out the dips, seal the cracks so weeds would not grow through for 5-6 years and then he'd seal coat the entire driveway. I agreed to pay him $2500 for the job he outlined. He asked that I e-transfer the monies to his account under the name Steve Smith. I am making this claim because he did not do the job I paid for. The spots he and his crew did even out were roughly done and unsightly. Many uneven areas were never fixed. In less than a week weeds were growing through the cracks once again in the driveway. I contacted him via email expressing my concerns for the job done and he agreed to come out and correct the problem but he never showed up.
