The SEAM company is dedicated to managing ESCROW accounts for surrogacy processes. The owner of the company, Dominique Side, informed us by email on June 12th that the account where the money from our escrow account is deposited (in Capital One Bank) had been frozen due to some alleged problem of fraudulent ACH charges. On June 14 she sent another email explaining the following: "Due to legal action, I regret to inform you that all operations have been placed on hold. At this time, I am unable to provide further details regarding this matter."

After that, I have not heard from her nor has she responded to my emails. Currently I have the amount of $40,140 in the SEAM escrow account.

Our surrogate agency Sowing Seeds Surrogate, set us up with this account so that we could fund our surrogate journey. It was mandatory to start the process. Our journey was unsuccessful and we wanted to liquidate the accounts. I was told to fill out a form and they would close at the end of June. Then I receive an email that they had ACH fraud and it would be an undisclosed time until we would get our money back. Now, the money seems to be gone, and no one is getting back to us. It seems the owner of the company has disappeared with a lot of people's money. We just want to balance of our account returned to us.
