Probably got my name from a secret shopper request from Target website email. Sent check and directions via priority mail USPS. The bank name on the check is a TCF near me. Memo area said Deborah San Nicolas. Check was for $***. Told me cash and to keep $*** of it. Told me to do it today. Buy gift cards, scratch off the back and send a pic of it witht some info - store clerk , experience and email stuff to [email protected].

Company on envelope is Digital Bench out of Culver City - no listing or website online.

I received an email from what seemed like a legitimate mystery shopper company. It asked only for my name and address, so I thought it was safe. Later I received via priority mail a large check with a letter asking me to cash the check, purchase ebay gift cards, and send photos of the fronts and backs of the cards (with silver strip scratched off) to a gmail address. I was instructed to keep the ebay cards to use in my next assignment. I was instructed to cash or deposit the check TODAY or TOMORROW and I could purchase the gift cards at a store near me. It listed numerous stores, including Target, Safeway, Walgreens, Kroger, Best Buy, and others. Everything was to be kept very hush hush.
