Paid for a back pack that was never received. Then a monthly subscription fee that was useless without the item that was not delivered.

Ordered a "free bag -- just pay S/H". A few weeks later saw pending bank charge of $98 for a subscription. Called the company to cancel the subscription, but still wanted the bag. Was told it would take up to 90 days. Called at 90 days, told 30-60 more days since it was "re-ordered". Called at 30 days, told "still 'on-time'". What a crock!

Advertised on Youtube: survivalopsusa.com. In October, I paid for shipping for the "free backpack" ($19.95 with no receipt or tracking number was given). I had forgotten about it until I received a notice of an upcoming charge for $98.00 a few days ago (late November 2023). I went on their website and canceled the order. I called their number on November 24 and told them I want the order cancelled and a refund. They claimed they would send me a backpack, to which I replied "no, just a refund and no further charges". They did not say they would cancel the charges, the call ended. On Monday (today), I received an alert of an attempted charge for $98.00, so I went into and alerted my bank to the fraud. I also asked for a dispute and refund for the 19.95. The bank blocked the charge for $98.00.
