Someone posing as my Aunt texted me on Facebook messenger and wanted to tell me all about being debt free from a government grant that I should apply for. She gave my name to the government representative "Susan James" who asked me for my address and told me I was qualified to participate in this government grant program and that I just needed to pay "only $1000.00 for clearance fees to receive $90,000.00 in cash" that would be delivered within 24 hours. I noticed the grammar was a bit off from both "my Aunt" and Susan James. I answered the questions that were public knowledge but didn't give any social security, bank, or credit card information. I asked my "aunt" a couple of questions about other family members and got responses that did not fit. I told them both I felt this was a scam and that they should be ashamed of themselves. I blocked them from my messenger app. Although they did not get any money from me, I feel violated.
