I found a rental property on Craigslist for a vacation. Entered into a contract stating $900 would be paid upfront via a transfer through our respective banks to a third party and the remaining $519.27 would be paid upon arrival as a security deposit. I received an email one week prior to arrival stating the $519 needed to be paid prior to arrival to a different account and then she added in that it was for a sick uncle. I can no longer get a response from Suzi Moates the "realator" or Maximiliano Guzman the "owner" to get my $900 back. Both my bank and hers are aware of the situation and she already has a scam claim against her. I am working to get my money back from her as it is 2 days before Christmas and I have no where to stay for my family vacation. She should be jailed for scamming people.
