The scammer has taken over my friend's Facebook page. He can no longer use it because the scammers changed the username and password so he no longer has access to it. They created a post showing that my friend received money and then created multiple comments from people and my friend replying to them making it look very legit. All the people in the comments are unknown to my friend. When I contacted them they stated I need to fill out a form that consist with your first and last name, address, DOB and telephone number. Through text the scammer said I qualify for $10K. I asked if I would have to pay the money back and he said no, I only need to make a deposit of $250. I told him I only have $50 and he said he could put up the rest for me. That's when I knew this was a scam. I have never paid for a grant, it should be free. I backed out of following through and then they tried calling me and FaceTiming me but I did not answer.
