I was contacted through text by a guy named Edwin approving my application to work with SVH Travel and for a follow up webinar. I just had to provide my email to confirm. I received the email confirmation and everything looked official except I could not remember ever applying to this company. Therefore, I went through my LinkedIn and Indeed job applications and I realized I never applied to this company. I looked it up on ScamPulse.com and realized there was an alert of this running scam. To confirm it was the same exact one I went to my scheduled webinar and it was listed as Book with Jacob, hence my report.

I received an email with a job opportunity. Before the webinar I researched the company interviewing. https://www.svhtravel.com/blog . I noticed that none of the posts had comments. When the webinar started I typed in testing with no response from the other attendees I also asked about the lack of comments on the website with no response. All of the chat responses seemed prepared and positive relating to the presentation (AI generated possibly). Having been in a large number of webinars this seemed fishy. I exited the session before the end so I am not sure if money was requested.

I had to sit through a prerecorded webinar where at the end he asked for a payment to join what was supposed to be a job

Received a phone call saying I have applied on LinkedIn as a travel agent and they have excepted my application and I have to confirm a webinar meeting.

Applied on indeed for remote travel agent position, immediately was accepted. Seemed too good to be true. Attended a webinar for the position, and then was prompted to pay for a subscription to be a part of their team. But the position would be owning your own business. So why do they take so much of the money? Scam. Called support and questioned if this was a scam, they said they would get back to me. Lol. Too many missing details for this to be real.

Applied for job and they gave me an offer before an interview with very high pay. And it’s a remote position. The offer came via text. Website seems very fishy

This individual promised a remote position to work as a travel agent. There was an invitation to join a "live webinar" explaining the position title salary and responsibilities. What was mainly explained in the "live webinar" was a promise to make a substantial amount of money curating vacation trips for patrons. There was no mention or explanation of the responsibilities of this job or an exact mention of a job title. In this webinar, the individual hosting promised that there were no entrance fees or financial commitments to this job. But at the end of the webinar offered a membership for employees to join for over $300 dollars or a specific amount each month for 12 months.
