This is reported by a friend and caretaker of the elderly couple (Bill and Callie) who were victims of this scam. Bill received a call in November that he was the winner of $8 million dollars and a truck. The scammer claimed he would need to get gift cards, open accounts and transfer money from 4 different banks, purchase 4 iPhones and send them UPS to Jordain Fletcher. Those purchases of phones with phone plans were made and sent to the scammer. They later begin contacting his wife Callie to get her involved to take out a reverse mortgage on their home to continue to send money. The couple contacted a local company to start the process of the reverse mortgage, but it is still pending with the company. Over this period of time the victims lost over $60,000. The friend became aware of this scam and contacted the ScamPulse.com for help. Documents of transactions were submitted to the ScamPulse.com in an effort to track the scammers trail.

A person, by the name of "Andy Goldberg" called my telephone number and left a message. He told me he was calling to inform me "that I had won $17 million dollars and a new Mercedes Benz". He provided the number (801) 335-5642 and asked that I return the call so that I could retrieve my "prize". Needless to say, I did not return the call but report it now so that you have additional information about "Andy" and his pitch.

Received many calls telling me I have won money. Wanted me to call them back, left a number and a name of a person to speak to, and a number to give them when I called back. Sounds too good to be true so I hung up!!
