90 yo mother received a letter in the mail stating she had won 946000 dollars. Check enclosed for 8, 782.41. Instructions said to contact one of two people that would assist her paying the fees and taxes totaling 5200.00 plus 22.5 % taxes. My mother asked me about as we have received similar scam letters in the past. We both realized it was a scam but wanted to report it anyway.
