An imposter add for incentive gift was posted on Facebook. Using Shoppers drug mart as the legitimate brand. Unwittingly signed up for toke gift (which also signed me up for monthly subscriptions of $350). Token gift and subscription model avoids allegation of fraud by credit card companies, but gift has little value. They were going to debit credit card every month. I called for refund. US based companies were listed as merchants on credit card. 2 companies; Awesome Prime Elegant Pro and Premium Perfect Shape were the US companies. Refund was not forthcoming until escalation. Credit card companies defend merchant because token gift was received. Zero acknowledgement of imposter advertisements.
