Saw an add in Craigslist for a corgi puppy and I reached out. They said $400 50% for deposit and the rest at the time of pick up and if I didn’t like the puppy it would be 100% refundable. I sent the money and then a few minutes later they texted and said they had a man who offered to pay the $400 cash right then and if I didn’t pay the other $200 then they would sell it. I said No and they tried to get me to send $50 more which I refused. They said they would sell it to the man and refund me which they never did. The following day they would not reply and the number was “out of service”.

I used my daughter’s number to trick them into thinking I was Someone different and it worked. They went thru the same but this time I said No to sending a deposit and they stopped communicating but the number was the same.

They sent me a website address both times claiming they were verified. I checkeD out the website and it looked legit, except you cannot make selections. I emailed Their customer service email which is a gmail account. They said they were verified and sent me once again the same number.

They obviously do this a lot. Be careful!
