I saw a post on craigslist about two cavapoos that were in adaption. Contacted the number, the guy (Thomas Martin’s) replied asking for my email. The email had the story of how they were moving and couldn’t keep them anymore so they were giving them for free as long as I promised I wasn’t going to sell them and would give them love. He said they moved to Pasadena TX but could deliver the dogs to me. I offered to travel and get them myself he said that would be too stressful for the puppies. Asked for $420 for the transportation, gave him $300 and was waiting to get the pups to give the rest. Agency (Swift Air Global) contacted me asking for a 98% refundable fee deposit of $950. That’s when I thought it was weird because Thomas mentioned they should not ask for more money. He even said he was a Christian and that his religion didn’t allow him to commit fraud. It was complete bull*** and I lost my $300. If it’s too good to be true, RUN AWAY!

I was on Craigslist looking for a puppy to own and I came across this account selling maltipoos a male and a female. The owner got in contact with me a few days later giving me Information on the puppy sent me pictures of the male puppy since it was the one I was interested in it. They said they were giving it for free because their son died and I would just pay for the transportation of the pup. Which initially was 310$ understandable I thought. The company they set for the travel got in contact with me through email saying they will get my pup to me as soon as possible and then random requirements came up. And random “refundable expenses “. A total of about 5,000 was being asked from me. And the puppy wouldn’t get delivered anyway because I couldn’t make a payment of 3000$ because someone messed up on a form making the refund inactive.
