I was on Craigslist looking for a puppy for me and my husband. We felt we were settled enough to get a pet. I reached out to a lady who had two cute puppies. We were emailing back and fourth and she said she trusted me enough to let me have the puppies. All I had to do was just pay for the transportation of the puppy through an agency. The agency then contacted me and told me to send a money order of $300. We felt it was reasonable enough so we did it. Then they said we needed to get a bigger crate for the puppy so they puppy could be transported. They tried to get me to pay $1,500 but I didn’t I just sent another order of $450 because I kept telling them I didn’t have any money. They said the puppy would be here the next morning. Once morning came they came up with another excuse to get more money out of us. I felt it was too much so I wanted to cancel everything. They said I needed to just get the money to have the puppy. There were just too many excuses. The lady tried to push me to go through with it and I said know. I keep calling the company to give me my money back but they said there are no refunds. It’s just been a really bad headache. It’s been going on for about 2-3 weeks. I have emails. A lot of emails and the phone number and text messages of trying to contact these people to get money back. Today we tried reaching out again and they just hung up on us
