Swift Logistics Movers and Mil Delivery Online / puppy Transport Reports & Reviews (2)

We purchased a kitten from a person in Virginia that was going to ship our kitten to us in Texas. I paid $463 and was told the kitten would fly into Tyler airport and the delivered directly to our home. The only tracking information the seller gave us was for this Swift Logistics Movers. The tracking showed the kitten would be delivered that night. An hour before the kitten was due to arrive, the company called us to tell us that we had to immediately pay $1000 for a refundable pet insurance policy or they could deliver our kitten. If we didn’t pay it the kitten would go somewhere for a 90 day quarantine. The breeder said they’d pay $450 of it and kept telling us to pay the rest cause that poor little 8wk old kitten was scared and probably getting hungry now. We went back and forth and it was amazing how she would say something to us and then 2 minutes later the trucking company would say the same. Almost as if they were in the same room together. We let them both know that we had looked it up and there was no such policy requirement in Texas and in fact it says on the internet that that was a scam. The truck guy starts yelling at me that it’s a felony to accuse someone of scamming and I’d better be careful. The breeder who said she was supposed to pay for that policy but her grandma had a heart attack and she used her money to help her and continued to push me for the money. Then they both start to inform me that if I didn’t pay for the policy and my kitten couldn’t be delivered I’d be looking at serious Urgency Fines. I have called the animal health commissioner in Texas and none of this was true. I have filed a report with the FBI and working with my bank to get this disputed. They told me to mark the friends and family on PayPal so it’d go through faster and they could get our kitten to us faster. Now I know it’s only so PayPal won’t dispute it. It’s been a few days now and the breeder continues to ask me if I’ve paid the money to get the kitten delivered. Even after I told her it was all BS and I’ve reported her and the trucking company to the FBI she continues. Part of me is horrified that there could possibly be a tiny little kitten somewhere all alone, but the rational part of me knows there was never any kitten. This was a kitten for my disabled son as an emotional support animal, which makes it even worse for me. This company is horrible. There’s only a phone number on the fake tracking document so no way to get a hold of them and it doesn’t even show where they’re located. The pet insurance policy they sent me a copy of was Global Pet Insurance and stamped Los Angelena California. When I researched this it also was obviously fake. I’d really like news of this company to spread so they can’t do this to anyone else! I’m sorry for the people above who also experienced this with their puppy they never got.

My partner and I used a Facebook group to purchase a dachshund puppy. We vetted the group and were provided pictures of the dog. The group used this company, Swift Logistics Movers, to transport the dog. The company has provided a tracking number for our delivery on a website we believe to be fake. The have only contacted us through a text line and called us a few times but we have no ability to call them back. They have continued to delay her transport and have required us to make payments via PayPal or Venmo to random people claiming the dog needed insurance, a special crate, vet fees, and then threatened us with puppy abandonment if we did not pay those fees. The entire process took four weeks before we stopped communicating and giving more money. We feel bad we fell for this scam as our research found everything checked the boxes of a classic pet scam. The company then wanted us to pay through methods of gift cards and bitcoin. We are unsure if the Facebook group is involved but are planning on reporting the incident to the FBI in hopes we get our money back and see if the dog even existed at all.
