Item was listed on OfferUp and I submitted a the request to purchase but the seller wanted to take the transaction offline because they stated that shipping was more than what was quoted in the app. I agreed that shipping was low and requested for the seller to take the item to Fedex to get a shipping quote before we agree on dividing the shipping charges. The seller then reports that they found a cheaper shipping service called swiftmoov.com. She requested I pay a portion of the total before takes the item to the Fedex store to ship it and for me to pay the balance after shipping. I agreed on the initial deposit of $80 but she wrote back later stating that she found a lower priced courier called swiftmoov.com. I reviewed the website to verify its legitimacy before attempting to pay the balance and found that the company's mailing address is a vacant retail space in San Francisco currently listed for lease. 1299 Pacific Ave, San Francisco CA 94109. Seller continues to pressure for the remaining balance and providing multiple venmo, paypal, zelle, cashapp under different names.
