Was contacted by supposedly a family member asking me if I received the money from Facebook jackpot promotion. That they saw my name on the list when they received their money. Then they sent me a link to contact the person they spoke to. I clicked on link and was sent to a Patrick Crawford. He said I had to fill out a form and get a $900 gift card to Apple or eBay and send him a picture of the card along with the receipt. I tried contacting my family member to talk to him/her in person to verify if it was really him/her who I was talking to on Facebook Messenger but couldn't get a hold them. Then later that day, Patrick said there was a time limit till 8 pm. I said I guess I'm not gonna get it because I was still working and I wouldn't make it by 8pm. The next day he tried contacting me saying the time got extended and the price went down to $700. That's when I called the Business Better Bureau. After a few minutes of waiting I was able to speak to them and they said it was a scam. Supposedly I had won $400,000 but then got extended to $500,000.
