so sad

I am like the others and was approached by a post on indeed. I went threw what I thought was a ridiculously long interview and was informed hours later that I was going to be hired. Same thing they were going to send me a c heck for expences incurred and that I was to fill out the out boarding papers. well, I really didn't feel comfortable after I had to be on telegram the veery next 2 days at 8 am. after doing a little digging I have the same results as the others this is a scam. people like this should be held accountable for giving a small glimmer of hope to us that are desperatly trying to find a good job which isnt easy

Fake people using real credential.

Fake person and posing for a real organization. Interestingly enough the person that sent the email Anton Willer is on LinkedIn but this Alex Prock person is not. I tried contacting Anton Willer directly on linked in but he did not respond to me. I attached that email as well. I asked Alex if they really wanted me to send my documentation back over unencrypted email and he responded,”Yes”. Umm no, no is the answer. I hate that I wasted so much time with these people.

Symphogen is an Employment Scam

I did an internet search of parttime jobs in Los Angeles. Someone from Symphogen reach out to me and asked me to download Telegram an app I wasn't familiar with. The "company " sent onboarding docs which I downloaded and held on to until someone from the "company " reached out via Zoom. Of course, no one did. They sent me some phony balony "check" and tried hard to have me deposit it. I promptly texted the person back stating that I did a little research and decided not to accept thier "opportunity".

I received a text message from a recruiter for iX Biopharma about an interview. Then they wanted me to download an app called Telegram and add someone by the name of Alex Prock. He conducted an interview on there and offered me the job right away. I accepted but they didn't do any onboarding paperwork today. I won't be getting back on the app tomorrow morning to report to them. I also plan on blocking them on the telegram app. This is irritating. I just want a new job.
