Jessica Mcginty Grafton-Brittany Johnson
Told me that she works at Sysco since March, and that she would get me in touch with the recruiter (Brittany Johnson)
She walked me through getting the Telegram app and downloading it into my phone.
Then once I had it live, she had me let her know so that she could notify the “recruiter” which was Brittany.
Brittany sent me an email with tax forms which I filled out. So they have my information. Asked for an account number for direct deposit and for them to send money to cover the equipment needed to set up an office at my house.
She supposedly wanted to send me money for this equipment and for me to have ready when representatives came to my house next week once equipment arrives and set up software and hardware.
So the idea is that I would buy a credit card from target with that money, and give it to the representatives when they arrived.
But she asked for the info via telegram, not via a software of work packet.
Then after they got my account information, they asked for username and password to “track the money sent because of bad experiences they had in the past with former potential employee candidates”

There was never a phone or Zoom interview. I have worked from home before, and this made me suspicious. But the money was good, and the hours flexible so I continued to go through the process, asking questions the whole time. Understand this, she had a good reason for every question I asked. "Why are you recruiting on Facebook and not through the Sysco website?", "The Sysco website and company portal will be made available to you after you receive your equipment and go through the orientation process. The main website is used for company news mainly, and we are broadening our network to include Facebook for new positions." ...That kind of thing. Also, her grammar was off at times. Not horribly, but just a little. It caused me to question her further.
I feel like if a company is offering to give you that much equipment for an entry-level job, when they didn't even Zoom interview me, it is a scam.
