Data entry position work from home....Brittany Johnson....did an interview and she hired me wanted to send me all the equipment and print a pdf check. I have never heard of a pdf check so I questioned it....she said it's the procedure. Wanted me to print it, which I can't so she asked me to go to Staples or to a library, which I thought...wow that's desperate, so I said no. Then she asked me if I had a laptop so I could take a picture of the check and deposit it!!! WTH is that I said to myself....so I decided to start googling and it took me here where I read these scam reports and find out more on them. So upsetting....

Someone posing as Sysco sent me over an offer letter and then told me to buy gift cards in exchange for equipment to pay them for it. Instead they “fake” put money into my account and then took it out while i had to purchase gift cards that had $0 on them so they ended up stealing around 9grand from me

Sysco tried to employ me for a work from

Home job and deposited 5 grand in my account and asked me to buy visa gift cards to hand over to them instead before i can start working. I feel like this is a scam
