I received an email from Rob Whitlock in London, wanting to donate $30,000 in honor of his "late mum" Janet L Thomas. I looked up him and his mother and found a post from a nonprofit saying they received the same scan where he ultimately donated $38,850 and asked for $10,000 to be bank wired back immediately.

This scammer uses the name and title/business of a REAL man in London.

Here is a link to the post I referenced. I've also included the emails he sent me. I have not responded since discovering the scam. It also sounds eerily similar to another charity scam I saw on the ScamPulse.com website.
