On 6/20 I purchased a single car wash at Take 5 on McCann Rd in Longview TX with my credit card at a machine. As I approached the entry, an employee signaled for me to roll down my window & handed me a “pass”. I didn’t know what it was & put it in my console. The next month on 7/20 there was a charge on my credit card for $22 so I went to the car wash to inquire & the employee asked if I had a membership. This prompted me to look for the pass. I gave it to him & he looked it up & found my husband’s name - which is not associated with my car or my credit card. The employee said he canceled the “membership” but the next month I was charged $22 again on 8/20 so I went back to inquire again. And again I was told the membership was canceled - I had NEVER requested a membership (which requires a phone number).

Now there is a bogus phone number associated with the membership pass as well as last four digits if a credit card which is not mine. It has taken multiple trips to the car wash & multiple emails to attempt to get my money back for two purchases that I did not make. I feel that one or more employees are involved in some sort of scam that perhaps targets senior citizens. I want the $44 that I was charged without my knowledge or consent refunded to me promptly. I am also planning to alert the Longview Police Department of this issue.
