We own several assisted living facilities in the state of Florida. Ahead of Hurricane Milton we evacuate dour residents from a facility in New Port Richey (NPR) to another facility in Clearwater (CLE) to keep them safe from the storm. After the storm I called several moving companies that I found on Google Maps, many of them did not even answer the phone. I spoke with a lady at Take Care Truck And Dolly Moving and she said they could do the move. We needed them to move the residents' belongings, supplies and medical carts. After making specific arrangements with my boss over the phone they aggreed to do the move for $650 cash. Once they loaded at CLE and arrived at NPR they held their truckload hostage until we paid them $1500! We only had the $650 in cash so our boss had to pay them $1500 by CashApp to get them to unload our stuff from their truck. I just want people to know that this company is run by a bunch of crooks! They help medications and blelongings of elderly people hostage for more money!
