I was sent a text message by someone by the name of Courtney Smith from Takis Biotech. She mentioned this company had reviewed my resume for a Data Entry Rep. position which offered $35.75/hr. once the two-week training was completed, and during the training, they would pay a $20.75/hour salary to be paid weekly. I was asked to download an app called "Telegram" because they were located in Italy, this was how they did overseas interviews, and to send a message to someone by the name of Eric Collins (@EricCollins12), Once I had "Telegram" downloaded to begin the interviewing process. Once Eric received my message I was sent company information "Takis Biotech" and was told to review the company via the website which was included in the texting on Telegram. When I looked up the Takis Biotech company it was legitimate. I was sent a series of interviewing questions which I had to answer via texting on Telegram. After this texting interviewing process, I was welcomed on board as a new employee of Takis Biotech" as a data entry representative. But, something didn't feel right when "Eric" asked for me to verify my banking institution to be sure it was a bank with which their overseas company has a relationship to be able to pay me via auto-deposit. Finally, I was told that I would be receiving an email the next day with the W-4 and Auto-Deposit form for my completion and also receive instructions regarding the start of my training process and payment would be sent to me to purchase the software and hardware necessary to begin my training. After the process, I just didn't feel right about this type of interview and hiring process. I have worked remotely before and the hiring process and the paperwork process were not handled in this manner. Remember, you should be able to see or speak with someone during an interview process. Their phone# should be a legit business phone# and/or their email address should also be a legit business email address. If these are not available, beware...Please, please don't send any financial information...
