The hourly wage was provided, company benefits and why choose Talos Energy was also included.
The e-mail was sent by Megan Dick, Human Resources Director from Talos Energy Inc. Once I e-mailed Mrs. Stacy Bartis, she replied by asking me to start the online interview through Google Hangouts. I reached out to Mrs. Bartis and the interview started by asking me my full name and location. Then the interview started by explaining how the online interview process would progress and if I had any questions during the process to ask. During the online interview, I did ask a question and it was odd that I never got an answer (red flag). This was odd because the supposed Mrs. Bartis continued as normal without answering my question. Once the online interview ended, it said that I would receive an e-mail the next day by 8:00 AM if chosen. The next day I received an e-mail with a job offer and on the attachment, the letter stated for me e-mail [email protected] to proceed with the hiring process. It said that Mr. Mordvintsev w
"You have been attached to an online supervisor who would take you through the startup process and training. You are required to
add him ASAP on Google Hangouts the way the interview was conducted with the following address: Mr. Alex Obvintsev
([email protected]). He will give instructions on how to sign and return the documents."
I called Talos Energy company phone number 731-328-3000 and she confirmed that this was in fact a SCAM. If you get an e-mail from this company that has a @gmail.com at the end please note this is a fake e-mail address. Talos Energy e-mail address ends with @talosenergy.com instead
