I received this text message saying this couple is giving away money from a Powerball winning and contact Jerry Smith at 910-239-8459 to claim the winnings. The text message came from 1571-354-9305. It was sent to about 8 other phone numbers. I Googled and saw this is reported as a scam. Just wanted to pass the information on to authorities

Received the below email and looked it up and saw others have been scammed this same way.

"Greetings

I Tammy Webster and my husband Cliff Webster won $ 316.3 million in the

Powerball jackpot and we decided to help those in need. We decided to donate a

total of $ 100 million to help those affected in one way or another. Due to the

crisis and the pandemic in Europe, we decided to donate $ 3 million each to 33

lucky people in our charity project.
