I am not sure but since the party in question asked for too much personal information, I thought I had better report this before I do something stupid. I was on Youtube discussing the fact that I have not yet received my stimulus payment of $600 and said I should be eligible as I received the first one. Someone named Finberg wrote on there that he had the same problem until he met a guy named Tanaii, who helped him and within two days, he had his check. I asked for a referral and he gave me taniaa_consult on Instagram. i was not able to reach him on instagram so finberg game me an email address of [email protected]. He wrote back immediately and said that because of my age at 72, he would be glad to help me. He then asked for my W2 forms for 2019 and 20, my email address, dob, etc. I stupidly gave it to him. Today he emailed me for the W2 forms but I could not find the ones for 2019 and have not yet received the ones for 2020. He seemed awfully eager and said that while we wait, he needed the following information. I asked him, but he said nothing about what he would charge me. Then he emailed me again and asked for my mother's maiden name, my dob, my ssn#, my marital status, my address, phone number, gender, etc. When he asked for the maiden name, I wondered why he would take it upon himself to ask for such personal information. To me, it sounds like his plan is to file my taxes and take all of my money. Next, I guess he will ask for my banking information.
