Was interested in purchasing an animal online and added a few breeders with little information and thought I was talking to a breeder for 3 months before proposing to make a purchase. Company then reached out & informed they had a promotion going on that would include 1 snake of my choosing, 3 months worth or frozen mice 32, container, water and shipping included. When I got paid I did inquire him on the promotion and asked if he had a specific morph and photos. Advised me he would provide everything and set up payment my choice they offered Zelle and Apple Pay. I informed id feel better doing this on PayPal he advised it’s to slow so we went with Apple Pay…. He responded to me 20 min later and advised me that he couldn’t get it to work and to send through Zelle. Sent the payment and informed me he would gather info and give me the photos tracking information and messaged me at 2am and told me that it took to long and he would need to give me the information in the morning. That morning he sent a photo of the product and tracking information and the person from the shipping company Martha +1 (850) 427-7034 began texting me asking me to look at the tracking information and to make a payment of 500$ for specialized carrier which I at this point realized it was a scam but they continued to pressure me to pay and said it was fully refundable. So the seller began messaging me the same thing I tried the number he gave and it didn’t work searched for the address of the business it was a home and asked him to kindly refund me the money I didn’t have money for shipping crate I was told it was included and he was still pushing back saying it’s refundable and to trust and I said I couldn’t like I didn’t have the money and i want accommodation send fed ex or refund my money he said he couldn’t I contacted my bank still waiting for my claim since March 11th this happened on the 10th I also informed Facebook and they contacted me last week to inform me the shop was closed down but I want to press charges and to spread awareness to the situation
