I found a financial assistant job on indeed and when I got the job, they had me do a bunch of wire transfers into Gemini and turn that into crypto and then send the money back, at the time I didn’t know what crypto was cause I had never heard of it, but when my bank account got shut down for fraud and lost all my money the bank told me that they could be scamming me and when I tried to confront them about it my supervisor amd HR of the company blocked me on everything and I have no way of contacting them and I’m out $7,000 now.

I applied to a work from home job on Indeed, and within a day I was contacted to set up an interview. The interview was brief and vague, but I've been desperate for work so I tried to give it the benefit of a doubt. After the 4 minute interview, I recieved a follow-up email to complete "identity verification", which I've done at other legitimate jobs before, but it was through their website and not a secure third party. I was also told to install telegram, at which point i started getting suspicious. I looked into this company and into employment scams, and turns out they're probably not legitimate. I caught it before they tried to get me to make cryptocurrency accounts.

Sounded like they were using a disguised voice for the interview. Said the job would require handling other people’s digital currencies. I didn’t follow through or click on any of the links attached to the email.

They wanted me to open several bank account in order to get job done. It did not sit right with me so I decided not to move forward but I did put my informations in

I just recently learned that I can put in a complaint on fake jobs hopefully this helps other people out there

They were asking for multiple types of verification of my identity. They said the job was to be working with digital money. The website he gave me directed me to dead ends. It was all fake. Now I’m concerned that they were after my identity all along.
