Mr. Taylor was asked to remodel a kitchen for a client. The client wrote a check to Mr. Taylor for $12,000.00, half of his quoted price which he required upfront. Mr. Taylor received and deposited the check in April, 2024. The client was unable to get in contact with Mr. Taylor for several months. Mr. Taylor claimed to have used the funds to purchase new kitchen cabinets, but has failed to produce a receipt. In July, 2024, after no other recourse, the client pursued Mr. Taylor via the legal system, after which he was arrested for breach of trust over $10,000, a felony in his state. Mr. Taylor has an issue with taking money from clients and failing to provide his service in an expedient manner or maintaining contact with his clients in general. His "business" should not be considered legitimate by any means, as he has not maintained the proper insurance, status with the Secretary of State, or produced any tax returns either personal or business in several years. Mr. Taylor continues provides construction services to people without any license to do so.
