I was contacted by TEADS . (The email address seems to be legit -- but not for TEADS) The email told me to"to contact the Senior Recruiter Ines Quesada on Google Hangouts at [email protected]". (Strange that Ines has an email account with another name) I did so, and Ines set up a chat interview appointment with me through the Google Hangouts platform. I was "hired" at the end of the extensive interview. Then Ines went on to explain that I should set up an "office space" and they would be sending me a check. I asked her if this was legit, because it seemed like a scam. I haven't heard from her since. Luckily I didn't give out any info. But, there is plenty of info they do have about me in my resume, which they picked up from one of the job search sites I am using. Grrrrrrrr!

The EXACT same thing happened to me as another person so I am pasting what they wrote in this compaint:
I received an email from an Ines Quaded saying she had found my application through Ziprecruiter-seemed legit, except I had no recollection of applying for this company. Long story short we did an "interview" on google hangouts and she then offered me the job, had another person send me an email with a job offer letter to sign and that they would "send me a check to purchase a mini home office to set up." And an agent would be out to help set it up in the next day. Didn't ask for anything but a photo of my ID, which I sent, like an [censored]. Don't fall for this stuff-they use legitimate company names.

I did not apply for a job, but got an email saying my resume was accepted and that I had a scheduled google hangouts session with their senior recruiter.
