Started service with Credit Allegiant Credit Repair services with upfront (1) time payment of $500 for services. No promises were made however, their methods used to dispute current charge offs are fraudulent. On at least three accounts disputed, they put "identity theft" as the reason for the charge off, which is false. Credit Repair Companies are supposed to find legitimate mistakes, not lie to get charge-offs and other items taken off or your credit report.

Also, under the Credit Repair Organization Act (CROA) Law 15 U.S.C. §§ 1679-1679j, they are not supposed to charge up-front payments for credit repair services. This company is clearing violating at least two laws that are outlined by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Encourage those who need to seek credit repair go with a more reputable company with actual reviews.
