Was told and received e-mail saying I will get full refund for them not fixing my problem with computer,every time I called about it they would say it will be there in 7 to 10 days,called every 10 days and was told to wait 10 more days, now they are saying it's to late notice refund is possible

My 79 year old parents were scammed. While on the internet, a pop up, black screen began yelling at them that their computer had a virus and that they MUST call the Tech Matrix Info Solution phone number on the screen. Unfortunately they did call. The scam artist on the other end of the line convinced them to let him on their computer and for just $249 (plus $69.95 a month there forward) he would "clean" their computer. An hour into the "cleaning" I just happened to call them and found out what was happening. I had them immediately unplug the computer. I had them cancel their credit card they used. These Scammers got into their email and banking information. They accidentally got my adult son's email and cell phone number off of my parent's computer and listed it as my parent's contact information. The next day my Dad's credit card was "hit" for a $1,500 unauthorized charge. Since they had just canceled my Mom's credit card, Visa caught this charge too. Tech Matrix continues to call my parent's home phone and email and text them using my son's contact information. My parent's investment information was also compromised and I worry about their financial security. TECH MATRIX INFO SOLUTIONS is a SCAM. Please let your elderly family members know how to handle these scams.
