Type of a scam Tech Support
they told her the computer was currupt. she said she had anipad and her relatives worked in IT and she would have them help her. They hung up.
today she received an IRS phone call scam from the same person who had an accent like an asian accent. They have called her repeatedly within the hour saying she owed additional taxes and that her house was being ITUNES cards. My mother became very upset and they hung up. Then they called back in 10 minutes and asked her if she was in her car yet and to hurry up and get in her car. she 88 and doesn't drive much anymore. She was very distraught.
