I would like to report a scam call I recently received. At first I spoke with a lady. She said the Spectrum cable was upgrading in the area. She would connect me to a Senior Discount Representative. I spoke with Mark Hill. I could have $30 deducted from my bill each month. My bill would be about $149. He said I needed to sent $199.45 . I asked why do I have to do that. He said for the upgrade. He asked if I pay by check or debit. I said I pay by money order. $199.45. He said I would get it back in two month. I had just paid my Spectrum bill. He gave me an address and phone number. He gave me phone number to call back. 855-905-2770 Gave me an address to send payment. They called from phone numbers 216-517-1093 and 216-894-2442. Direct Upgrade 299 Fortham Place Bronx NY 10464. I did not send any money. I said to myself, I am calling Spectrum. I called Spectrum. Spectrum told me it was a scam. We would not do it that way. He wanted me to send the money order to him. He called the next day. I said oh no and hung up
