i got scammed by this company. I thought i was talking to norton, and i asked multiple times if its norton and the agent said that they are norton. do not deal with this scam company. i already called my bank and stopped the payment.

I have been receiving phone calls almost every week or two requesting to give me a refund from a tech company I signed up for a year ago. They tell me my software is outdated, no longer compatible and they will need to refund my money. They requested my bank information and remote access to my computer to complete the refund. When I asked them to give me a contract number or an account number to refer to, they don't have this information. This phone call is a scam............ I contacted the real company I deal with and they referred me to the original email I received and it clearly states "do not entertain any call asking for credit card or banking information or remote access to your computer to prevent fraud."
