Home computer was infected by pop-up.claimed they were Microsoft associated. Requested $419.95 to fix problem, computer screen froze and instructed to call immediately/ Malicious software.man’s name: Jordan Williams, ext. 406, his supervisor,: John Carter, ext. 306. Told to make check payable to TechmartLive Solutions for $419.95 , they scanned check and tech worked on computer for an hour. Then they called back that the issue was resolved. I called Microsoft and they told me it was a scam. I immediately went to bank and stopped payment and closed accounts. Now they’re calling regarding the check payment. WiFi and power to the laptop is disabled so no other computers are infected. A two year old HP Pavillion Notebook is useless!

Received a notice on computer that I must respond immediately to a toll free number. Scam name "zues". Not being aware that this was a scam, I followed directions given. I questioned the validity. Their response was "proof of membership in the ScamPulse.com" showing on my computer the BBB website with their membership. Bottom line I was told to walk away from my computer for two hours while they "fixed" the problem. The company "Tech Mart Live Solutions LLC"

per their instructions got $299.99 or my money. On 1/21/2016 when I was made aware by IT Dept. at my work place I filed an affidavit with my bank to dispute the above payment.

Since this incident I have had to have my computer hard drive cleaned, losing valuable saved information at a cost of almost $200.00
