I ordered a part from Technical Hot and Cold parts. They reached out to me after the order to tell me that the part was not actually the brand that they listed it as, and even though they listed it as 'in stock' it was not, and in fact the part costs ~2x as much as they had it listed for, so they would have to collect the remainder of the cost in order to place the order with the supplier, at which time they'll actually know when they can deliver it me.

This is a total scam to get people to place orders, thinking they found a great price, and an in-stock part that is hard to find, and then pressure you into paying a higher price.
