To whom it may concern:
On Friday, November 3, 2017 I contacted Cannon via “live chat” and they transferred me over to Microsoft via “live chat” and then eventually to you, Technosoft via “live chat” and I was eventually told that my computer and all my other devices such as apple cell phones, tablets and other lap tops were at “high risk” and you recommended cloudcare, network firewall, hide me so no one can see me, remove all untrusted users, remove all errors and warnings, remove and block all pornography and the install and add blockers, anti malwares, clean up and speed up all devices, identity protection, technosoft by microsoft. You also told me that my devices were infected with “koobface”.
Not being very technically advanced I was very concerned for all my devices, and my privacy. You then told me that you could not fix my printer issue without me purchasing a subscription and that I should have all this protection from your company in order for my devices to be safe. You then told me of a few packages: 1 year $199.99, 2 year $329.99 then 3 year $499.99 and you told me that the $499.99 was a one time payment and firewall, forever & security, transferable... I did not want the $499.99 package and then you told me that for $299.99 I could have a one time payment of $299.99 and firewall, forever & security, transferable, and free tech support which would be for 1year. I agreed and signed for that.
In feeling uneasy about all this I decided to talk with a IT and he told me that I already have a firewall with microsoft and that I have Avast protection on my computer and that there is no way that all my devices were at high risk, and you would have no way of knowing this because you only remotely logged into my one computer device and had the remote session on this one device.
I signed for this service that you provided to dis-infect my computers and I had a computer tech look at this for a second opinion and we have found from a susequent virus scan (attached picture) showing that 4 infected system files were not detected from your company and the scan was only 15% completed. In the end there were 8 infected files found.
I am concerned about the work purchased on November 3rd, 2017 from your company and I am giving notice of cancellation for my support services effecive immediately and request full refund for the full amount of invoice: customer ID: ............ for $299.99 U.S.
I believe the contract has been breached for complete computer dis-infecting. I will also be filing a complaint with the ScamPulse.com on this.
