I received an email from Career Builders advising that I was selected for a job interview for a company called "Tecnicas Reunidas", During the interview I was asked if I had a printer, scanner and fax machine - to which I replied I did not. The HR manager Onna Philips ([email protected]) stated they would send me a check to buy the stated items. Once the check was sent via email, I contacted my bank who advised me to take it to JP Chase Bank to verify the authenticity of the check. The teller at the bank confirmed the check did not belong to the company on the check but to a company named "Straight forwarding USA" and that the account was in fact frozen and could not be verified. I have a copy of the check if needed.
