Type of a scam Online Purchase
I was not aware that this site was not affiliated with Ted Baker, because the product came up in a search engine. The website looked authentic and had many Ted Baker items. When I entered my order with credit card and address, I received an immediate email confirmation from a gmail address. The user name was "kkmimevip". The message was grammatically incorrect. The message did have complete sentences. It said they are very busy, recieved your order and very busy.
Thats when I saw the .net website address. I also saw that the website had no phone number for contact. I sent an email to the kkmimevip gmail address. I had an immediate autoresponse. It said thank you for order, we are very busy.
It is a scam to get your credit card information and to bill you. The credit card statement says it is a company from China called yiyihaoxiang.
They keep saying they are busy to fool you into waiting for a product that will never come. Meanwhile, they have billed your credit card. The billing is also for more than the amount purchased.
