I have been working with them for a few days

I have been working with them for a almost a weeks now. They said they pay end of the month so it’s due in next weeks. I have shipped 4 packages for them. I am also very concerned that why they need us to ship stuff and how do they even make money. Sounds shady and too good to be true. Let’s see if they pay up or not. I will keep you posted.

IS THIS A SCAM?

I RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THEM AND BEGAN WORKING ,SHIPPING PACKAGES FOR THEM FOR A COUPLE WEEKS NOW.THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN I CALL, AND THEY ALSO HAVE FAKE GOOGLE VOICE NUMBERS SO ITS REAL SUSPECT SO IT HAS TO BE A SCAM.IM NOT SURE IF THEY WILL PAY ME.THE PACKAGES ARE DESIGNER ITEMS,JEWELRY, OR ELECTRONICS.I ALSO CANT FIND ANY REVIEWS , YOUTUBE VIDEOS OR ANYTHING ON THIS COMPANY. HAS ANYBODY WORKED WITH THEM BEFORE?

I’m in the same boat kind of. They email me and text my phone about how to do things. I’m suspicious myself but I’m not completely sure so I gave it a shot. I’m currently waiting for 2 packages they say pays biweekly they hold your first check some companies do this.. please update your review and let me know if they pay you lol

I just got off the phone with Sherill McKnight. She sounded very convincing and interviewed me. She sent me three emails to get on boarded with the Teekay. I almost filled out the emails with my personal info. I thought the job sounded too good to be true and I started to do some research and digging, luckily I found this page before I gave them any of my personal details.

I also just found this page from the better Business bureau that warns people about fake scam reshipping jobs.

I was contacted by someone with the email [email protected] offering me package handler position with a guaranteed base pay of $2800 a month. This seemed too good to be true, and I didn't recall applying to any company of that name, but I was too eager about that kind of pay that I replied to the email and gave my basic information to apply. I was then sent an email from [email protected] with the first shady thing. The sign off at the bottom was missing a number at the end which a real company would never have done because their sign offs are automated. I then tried to look up both the address and the company name and was at a dead end. Searching the address on google maps only tells you of an HVAC company at that location, and searching the company name itself only shows another company by the name of teekay, but they are a marine energy transportation, storage & production company, based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Replying to the human resources email granted me a response from yet another strange email address, [email protected]. Upon conducting the phone interview, I was sent 3 emails from [email protected] 1 with a basic welcome and their website, the second with official legal documents to prove their company exists, and the last one with documents to sign onto a contract with them. Why in the world would any company feel they needed to prove their existence if they weren't a scam? A simple google search can tell you that this company does not exist, you need to enter their domain into your address search bar in order to actually visit their site. I almost fell for this, and don't want others to make the same mistake.

Teekay Navigation offered $50-$100 per hour for a Part-time Package Handler position. Although, they provide an impressive Website and Employee Information. The address they provide is an empty building in Greer, South Carolina. They have no web presence; you cannot find a company name Teekay Navigation in South Carolina and they are not listed with ScamPulse.com as a company. There is a premier company in Canada with this name; however, they are not connected. Teekay sends a document for employee agreement with typographical errors and lists two company names. They also send a website to prove they are official https://businessfilings.sc.gov/bBusinessFiling/Entity/Scearch It seems they are fishing for social security and birth dates for identity theft. I called and text the representative out on the scam and I have not heard back even though contact was steady before realizing this is a scam. They continue to send auto-emails to sign the employee agreement.
