I texted the code and received a reply that said because of the number of applicants, they'd be doing the interview via text. I thought it was odd, but in this day and age I thought it might be something new with companies to save time thinking it would be just the first step of the interview process. The interview seemed legit, a series of typical interview questions, except they wanted quick answers (I was thinking it was to get an idea of my data entry speed), one question seemed odd when they asked me what my Financial Institution was, but answered anyway. Finished up the question, they said I passed. I asked a few questions about the pay and schedule, etc. they sent a link to a form I filled out, name, address, and front of my driver's license. No banking information yet.
Then they said they were going to send me my office equipment via their private vendor. I already told them I have a computer and printer/copier/scanner, etc which they required. Then they said they were send me a check via email for me to make a mobile deposit to my bank to pay for the office equipment they were sending via private vendor. That was the final red flag...I did a research on the phone number for the texting, and found the reported scams on BBB.
