I applied for a remote Data entry position for Tek printing & Promotions on a LinkedIn job post around wednesday afternoon. Next day, the CEO messaged me on details to contact their recruiter Julia Hayes. 840-205-9795 and the interview was held via Text (message came into my Linkedin platform around Midnight). Mark then stated his account was hacked and do not follow the steps in the message. Mark then sent three more messages on the same message to contact their recruiter Julia. I did so to see if this is a valid job, then the interview initiated for about 20 minutes via text on a friday afternoon. Afterwards, within minutes, they wanted to verify my ID by using IDme.com which is an IRS agent website (I was told) to verify my ID and after I completed those steps, the account was immediately suspended which was sketchy. Then Julia stated that I am verified in their database already and will send the offer letter in the mail to my house. Saturday, Julia is texting me again to ask if I am still interested in the position. The urgency is already giving me doubts if this company is legit. Then they explained that the company will send me a blank check to my mailbox so I can buy the office supplies, then ship the laptop to a vendor for their vendor to apply software to execute the daily tasks. I immediately declined this position. The only thing they got from me is my face images from IDme and social security number from a 3rd party application form from Cognitoforms.com. Do not fall for this everyone.
