While searching online for a new puppy, we found Tendergoldenretrievers.com. They had several puppies and we chose one, Violet. We responded to the website email and were sent some information about how to purchase the dog and how it would be shipped to us. They preferred payment by Zelle and we complied. After constantly emailing them, we asked to be called. They did and the individual gave his name as Howard Butler. He had a heavy accent and did not give a great deal of details. We were reassured, however, because we heard many dogs barking in the background. But when we called back the phone number did not work. The dog was to be shipped by Taxi 2 go Pet Travel. However, before the pet came, the travel company asked for a life insurance policy payment (refundable) that cost more than the dog. We looked up the travel co and it was listed by ScamPulse.com as a fraudulent company. We stopped contact with both companies at this time.
