The scammer has/had a Facebook account, Maine C o o n Kittens for Adoption, where she and two to three others posted kittens for sale. I contacted her about a kitten that she had and was interested in. She sent me a contract, which I looked over and we both signed, selling the kitten for a total of $800. I then sent a $300 deposit. Is PayPal. The next day, she sent me a DM asking me for an additional $300 to get the kitten into the vet and her paperwork completed to transfer ownership. This would leave me with owing the balance of $200 at the time of pickup, per the contract. Two days later, she contacted me again, wanting the last of the money to finish the paperwork. She stated that she had unexpected vet charges and needed the balance. Each time she gave me different email and contact names to send the money too. There was always an excuse as well. When I told her I didn’t have the $200 to give to her until pick up, per the contract, she blocked me from her DM and the Facebook page. She sent me pictures of the kitten, but I have no clue if it was even in her possession now.
