Type of a scam Employment
responded to a craigslist.com post for night shift work. I had two over the phone interviews.
I was sent links to their website and was instructed to fill out the employee profile information that included the I9.
I was essentially being lined up for employment.
Then I got a call from a "Hannah" who asked me the same questions the previous phone interviews asked and the online video addressed.
The "Hannah" person stated to the effect that she was put off by me and that I was not be a good fit.
This was a complete change.
Now, I am scared because this "company?" with bad reviews via the ScamPulse.com has my personal information including my social security number.
by U.S. government law, you are not supposed to have to provide the SSN until you have a job offer.
please advise
