I started this job and ı took so much shipping one month later my dashboard system down and locked and they did not answer my phone.
Also, I did not know anything about this company. I just waited so much to receive a call.
Now I am disappointed and learn this company is fake. I hope everyone and I take our salary. I am still looking for job. :((
Today, May 26, 2021- I get a call from a ethnic-speaking man saying he saw my resume online and wants to hire me. I recalled applying to the position he mentioned so I gave him my email to send me the employment contract. He also said make sure to attach my government IDs. He also asked if I had a car. Which to word it like that felt strange at the time. (Phone number is +1 (302) 503-6746). I got home, opened the email and Now the company is called Shipping Tesla, not the name I provided earlier and I felt like it was a scam. Something in me said no you have to check this out. I went to the website, it seemed legit. I went to google and googled the name and that’s when I found this site. I thought I’d provide my experience too. Even though I didn’t go through with it like everyone else I will still present evidence and attest if asked. I am In Orlando, FL.
I will also attach the “company” website.
I also have a text from them saying they sent me an email. I will attach that too.
I will also attach the employment contract.
If asked to present evidence and attest, I will be happy to turn everything over and assist anyway possible. I am in Austin, Tx.
As of right now I am out of a months work and spend $4200 for these people. I am probably going to file the phone I bought as stolen property, in attempts to get it back into my hands.
He said he had seen I updated my resume on Indeed and thought I'd be a good fit for a distribution position.
Because I had not sent a resume to this "tesla shipping" company, I said to him, "hey, I'm nervous about an unsolicited call." I asked him, "Do I have to send ANY money at ANY time?" He said, oh no, no no, you'll be doing nothing with money. I asked where was he located. He said Washington, DC. I said let me check out your webpage and I'd be happy to discuss with you same time next day." He was like, oh yeah, go see our webpage, it's shippingtesla.com. He seemed really excited I was gonna check out his page!
I thought who in the hell would use a page name like that! But I looked at the webpage and gosh it really does look official. The concept they explained was very intriguing. I didn't hear from him the next day so I just let it drop. After reading these messages today tho, I called the number. The response I get is either the call won't go thru, or a busy signal.
Can anyone else confirm he got names from Indeed? Did anyone, other than me, update their resume on Indeed recently? I'm not sure if Indeed could be held liable, but might be worth a try. I just suspected he was going to the "new" on Indeed.
And, btw, THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL I WOULD RETURN THAT LAPTOP. Make them come after YOU! Then you can pursue them! And they probably won't, so you'll get it as payment. Consider yourself lucky!
I volunteer to attest if requested. I'm just outside Charlotte, NC. Notify me here if needed and I will provide text number. Good luck folks.
Best,
Roy
PS If you gave him banking info (especially if you signed an authorization), man... get the heck away from those bank accounts. They could wait until things are settled down, and then go into your accounts (that itself might be their ploy). If you signed the form for CREDIT only, they can only deposit money into your account. If the form says CREDITS and DEBITS (most do), they can come in and get money (think duplicate paycheck and your employer gets that money back). To be safe, everyone should change accounts! (I'm a former Payroll Company Executive) good luck!
